Glasgow Triathlon
Glasgow Triathlon takes place at Bellahouston Leisure Centre and Bellahouston Park in Glasgow on Saturday 22nd May 2027. The event debuts as a pool-based triathlon with a heated indoor pool swim and traffic free cycle and run courses on park roads.
The event offers four individual distances and a sprint team relay. All adult distances require competitors to be 14 years on race day. A separate kids fun triathlon is available for 5 to 16 year olds on the same day. The event uses electronic chip timing. Competitors must count their own pool lengths and laps on bike and run, and wearing a cycle helmet is compulsory for the bike section.
On-site facilities include hot and cold food, refreshments, toilets and grassy areas across Bellahouston Park. The course is described as spectator friendly. Relay teams can consist of two or three people; each team member completes one or two disciplines and passes the electronic chip in transition. Open and mixed category teams may be male or female.
Entry places are available through the organiser and also via UK Charity Triathlon where free registration is included with a fundraising commitment.
