Glacial Trail 50
The Glacial Trail 50 is a fall ultramarathon held Sunday October 10th, 2027, in the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest with the start/finish at Greenbush Town Hall / Fire Station, N6644 Sugarbush Road, Greenbush, WI 53023. Runners take a connector trail from Greenbush out to the Ice Age Trail, which comprises most of the out and back course.

Online registration is open April 1 through October 4 (noon); race day registration is available and accepts cash or check only. The course is out and back and primarily on the Ice Age Trail.
Aid stations require runner check in and are stocked with HEED, water, and food. Stations are spaced roughly 4 to 7+ miles apart. One drop bag station locations are listed for each race (50K: 13.3 and 17.7; 50 Mile: 13.3 and 36.7). This is a cupless event; runners must carry their own container to refill along the course.
Pacing by non entrants is not allowed. Crews may assist only at aid station locations; meeting runners at road crossings or stashing supplies along the course is prohibited. Vehicles at aid stations require a Wisconsin state park parking pass; a park pass is not required at the start/finish location.
Time limits are 12 hours for the 50 Mile and 10 hours for the 50K. Entrants receive a choice of sweatshirt or blanket and post race food and beverages. Lodging and services are available in Plymouth, about 7 miles east; camping is available in the Kettle Moraine State Forest.
Awards include top finishers and age group categories with custom medals for 50 Mile finishers and custom medallions for 50K finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
