Girls on the Run Upstate South Carolina Spring 5K
The Spring 2026 5K Celebration is a season-closing event on May 2, 2026 at Spartanburg Community College (Giles Campus). The event serves as the final celebration for program participants and is intended to give participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment. Pre-5K activities listed include Happy Hair and Bling Your Bib.
Event operations include coach check-in, an arrival window for girls and supporters, pre-5K festivities, opening remarks, group warm-ups, team lineup, and sequential team starts as teams are set up. Teams begin the course one at a time in the order they are arranged.
Registration follows defined pricing windows. Early bird registration runs from December 2 to February 20 with a fee of $20. General registration runs February 21 to April 10 with a fee of $30. Late registration from April 11 to April 28 is $40. In-person registration on April 29, April 30, and the day of the event is $45. Program participants and coaches are already registered and do not need to register again. Registrants after April 10 are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
