Girls on the Run Tulare and Fresno Counties 5K - Fall 2026 Season Celebratory 5K
This event is the end of season 5K for Girls on the Run Tulare and Fresno Counties. It takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Orosi High School. The course is a 5K distance, equal to 3.1 miles, and serves as a celebratory conclusion to the program season.
The event is not competitive. Participants may walk, run, roll, push or skip at their own pace. Every registered participant who completes the 5K receives a commemorative medal. The council provides a running buddy for each participant; a running buddy is an individual who accompanies a participant for the entire course. Parents and guardians may serve as running buddies, and additional family or community members can participate if registered.
Safety measures include race bibs for every participant, course monitoring with head counts, a safety plan and trained volunteers. The event is accessible for people with disabilities and has designated parking spots.
Volunteers support many activities such as set up and tear down, registration, course marshals, running buddies, water stations, cheer stations and face painting or happy hair stations.
