5K Celebration
Girls on the Run New Hampshire holds a seasonal 5K Celebration that concludes the program and gives participants a tangible sense of accomplishment. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Memorial Field, S Fruit St, Concord, NH. The course length is 3.1 miles and the event is presented as a non-competitive, celebratory experience with no timing clock.
Program participants and coaches are pre-registered and each program participant receives a commemorative medal. Buddy registration is required for adults or other companions who accompany participants; published registration options include early, regular (no shirt), and late (no shirt) pricing tiers.
The council emphasizes safety and inclusion. Every participant must wear a race bib, the council provides running buddies for many participants, and volunteers serve as parking marshals, course monitors, water stop attendants, merchandise sellers, and course sweepers. A safety plan trains staff and volunteers to respond to emergencies. The event is accessible for people with disabilities; participants may walk, run, push, or roll at their own pace and designated parking spots are available.
Onsite activities include merchandise sales, face painting, and selfie stations. Liability waivers are required with registration.
