Girls on the Run Mid State PA Harrisburg 5K
Girls on the Run Mid State PA stages a closing 5K to conclude the season and to provide program participants with a tangible sense of accomplishment. The event is presented as a celebratory 5K known as the Capital Area 5K and it is not chip timed.
The event takes place on May 2, 2026 at HACC Harrisburg, One Hacc Drive, Harrisburg PA 17110. Online 5K registration opens January 21 with a listed entry fee of $30. Registration by March 26 guarantees a Girls on the Run 5K shirt. Online registration closes on April 10 and Spirit on the Course sign entries close on April 10 with a listed price of $20. Day of event registration is listed at $35 and the entry fee increases to $35 on the day of the event. Program participants are already registered for the 5K and do not need to register separately.
