Girls on the Run Memphis Spring 5K Celebration
The Girls on the Run Memphis Spring 5K Celebration is the season closing 5K for the local program, held on Sunday, May 3 at the University of Memphis Alumni Mall. The event is intended to give program participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment through a community 5K.
Registration for the 5K opens March 1. Early bird and standard registration prices are listed for three categories: 5K Buddy, General Adult, and General Youth. A 5K Buddy is defined as a friend or family member running or walking with a program participant. Early bird and standard prices are $10 and $15 for 5K Buddy, $20 and $25 for General Adult, and $10 and $15 for General Youth.
Event activities include packet pick up and race registration, a 5K Fun Zone with pre-race activities, and a group warm up before the run. 5K shirts are not included with race registration; shirts are available for purchase during online registration.
