Girls on the Run 5K - Fair Haven
The Girls on the Run 5K in Fair Haven is a community running event presented by the Waldele Family Foundation. This event celebrates the 24th anniversary of Girls on the Run of Central NJ, an organization focused on supporting the potential and dreams of young girls. The race takes place at Fair Haven Fields, situated at the corner of Ridge Road and Dartmouth Avenue.
Participants will compete on a certified 5K road course. The event utilizes professional chip timing services provided by Tristate Timing to ensure accurate results for all runners. To support participants during the race, water stops are positioned along the course and at the finish line.
Registrants receive a T-shirt, though availability for those who sign up on the day of the event is limited to remaining supplies. After completing the course, runners have access to post-race refreshments. The event also features a SoleMates program, which focuses on raising funds for scholarships to assist girls in low income areas with program participation.
The registration fees for the event are structured in tiers, with costs increasing as the race date approaches. All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
