The Girlfriends Triathlon & Fitness Festival is an all-women multisport event held at Frenchmans Bar in Vancouver, WA, along the Columbia River. The venue offers river and mountain views and a flat course with a down-current swim close to shore.
Event formats for the Girlfriends day include:

The festival is part of a broader Columbia River Triathlon Festival that also includes co-ed events, a Kids Triathlon and a Friday evening Sunset 5K/10K. Kids races cover age-appropriate swim, bike and run distances and children 12 and under register free; older youth receive a reduced fee.
USAT rules apply. A timing chip must be worn during the event and body marking is required before entering transition for safety and identification. Helmets are mandatory for cycling; no music devices are allowed during the bike. Aid stations are placed approximately every two miles and basic on-site bike mechanic service is provided. The festival benefits the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
