Event
The Girl Scout Cookie Chaser 5K is the second annual 5K run and walk held in Roebling, New Jersey. The event starts at the Roebling Steel Mill and uses an out-and-back course of 5K (3.1 miles) that follows town streets and paved trails. The course is open to runners, walkers, and strollers. Amenities listed for the event include a unisex cotton t-shirt for eligible registrants, awards for overall top finishers, boxes of Girl Scout cookies as part of race swag for some registrations, water and post-race snacks, and sponsor/vendor booths. All proceeds support Girl Scouts of Troop 21513.
Registration and logistics
Published registration fees are $30 through March 1 (includes a box of Girl Scout cookies; cookie variety is not guaranteed), $35 from March 2 through May 8, and $40 on the day of the race if available. Participants who register by April 25 will receive a unisex cotton t-shirt. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, May 8 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Subculture Artisan Ales, 11 W 2nd St, Florence, or on the morning of the race at the event site.
