Ginger Goudie Memorial 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run
The event is a community 5K run/walk and an untimed 1 mile fun run held at The Janus School in Mount Joy, PA on November 7, 2026. The 5K is a fundraiser for The Janus School. Registration is required via a mailed form or optional online registration (nominal processing fee) that closes November 4; early and late registration fee tiers determine whether a shirt is included.

The course begins and ends at The Janus School, proceeds through a nearby development and into a park before returning to the school. The route is mostly flat, stroller and wheelchair accessible, and has the same start and finish point. Distances of 1, 2, and 3 miles are marked on the course. Timing and finish line clock are provided; results are posted by the timing service. Awards include overall male and female winners for the 5K, medals for the top three male and female finishers in standard age brackets, and top three male and female awards for the fun run.
