Gimme S'more Mud Run
Gimme S'more Mud Run is an obstacle mud run held at Camp Sacajawea in Boone, Iowa, on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The camp address is 638 L Avenue and the site is about 55 miles northwest of Des Moines. The event is approved by the Healthiest State Initiative.
There are two course options:
- 3 Mile Course, approximately three miles
- 1 Mile Course, approximately one mile
Participants receive a t-shirt with registration and may purchase an event patch for an additional fee. The 3 Mile Course is open to ages 8 and up and the 1 Mile Course is open to ages 4 and up; children under 11 should be supervised by an adult. Registration is open and all participants must complete a participant waiver; minors require a guardian signature. Packet pickup is at the Des Moines Leadership Center on Tuesday, September 22 and Wednesday, September 23, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Shoes must be closed-toe and tie securely, slip on shoes are not allowed. Shoes and wristbands are required on course. Water will be provided on the course and outdoor rinse areas will be available; there are no formal showers or changing areas. Port a potties and first aid personnel will be on site. Parking is free on site but limited. Pets are not allowed. The event is not timed. There are no refunds or transfers and the event may be delayed or cancelled for severe weather.
