Gilda’s Run/Walk takes place in Middleton at Gilda’s Club Madison and is offered both in person and virtually. The event raises funds to support local families affected by cancer; organizers state that 100% of dollars raised stay in the community to fund free emotional support, education, and resources.

- 5K Run (self-timed)
- 2-Mile Walk
A finish line party follows the run and walk, with food and treats provided for registrants by Ruth’s Chris and Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream, beverages available from a coffee truck, and family-friendly entertainment such as strolling magic, face painting, and mascot appearances.
Fundraising is integrated into the event. Publicized impact examples include: $67 funds one month of counseling and support, $132 funds two months, and $300 funds a virtual cooking class. Fundraisers are eligible for thank-you gifts and awards in categories such as top corporate team, top non-corporate team, top youth fundraiser, and top adult fundraiser.
