Gilda's Run/Walk 2026
The 19th annual Gilda's Run/Walk takes place in Middleton on Sunday, October 4th, 2026. This family-friendly community event raises funds to provide free emotional support, education, and resources for local families impacted by cancer. Participants can choose to attend in person at the Gilda's Club parking lot or participate virtually from any location.
The event offers two non-competitive distances:
- 5k run (self-timed)
- 2-mile walk
Participants can prepare for the start with a yoga and stretching session. Following the run and walk, an outdoor picnic features grilled burgers (including vegetarian options) and ice cream for all registrants. Beverages are also available for purchase. The post-event celebration includes a variety of entertainment such as strolling magic, face painting, and appearances by local sports mascots.
Registration includes different tiers based on timing. Those who sign up by the early bird deadline of August 31st receive a lower rate and an event t-shirt. Registrations made after this date are subject to regular rates and include an event hat. Incentives are offered for top fundraisers across corporate, non-corporate, youth, and adult categories.
