Gibside 5K & 10K Trail Runs
The Gibside 5K & 10K Trail Runs take place at the National Trust Gibside Estate in Rowlands Gill, Tyne & Wear. Set within over 600 acres of historic gardens, woodland, and countryside, the event offers scenic routes featuring spectacular views, wildlife spotting opportunities including wild deer, and landmarks like a Neo-classical Chapel and grand ruins. Runners can choose between a 5km course, ideal for beginners aged 11 and over, or a more challenging 10km route for those 15 and older.
The evening event is Canicross friendly, allowing one controlled dog per runner. All finishers receive medals, merchandise, snacks, and drinks, with live chip timing and optional event T-shirts available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
