Event details
The event takes place on Wednesday 29 April 2026 at Gibside National Trust, Rowlands Gill, NE16 6BG. The estate covers over 600 acres of gardens, woodland, and countryside and includes an 18th-century designed landscape with a Neo-classical chapel, a restored stable block, and a grand ruin. Wildlife may be present on the route, including deer.
- 5 km - age 11+
- 10 km - age 15+

Additional information
The event is Canicross friendly; one controlled dog per runner is allowed. Live chip-timing is provided by Timing Up North, with results available during the event. All finishers receive a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. Runners can add an exclusive event T-shirt to their entry for £12.00. On-site parking is available at £3 per vehicle.
Registration opens 04/07/2025 and closes 27/04/2026. Standard entry prices listed are £22.00 + fee for the 5 km and £26.00 + fee for the 10 km.
