Ghostly Gallop - Hudson
The Ghostly Gallop is the 26th annual community running event that benefits the Hudson Area Library. Races start and end at Hudson Jr./Sr. High School (215 Harry Howard Ave, Hudson, NY 12534). The 5K course is USATF certified and sanctioned and runs through a residential neighborhood. A separate one-mile kids course borders the Hudson Fireman's Home and Museum.

- 1-mile Kids Fun Run; free for children aged 12 and under
Registration fees for the 5K are tiered by date: $25, $30, and $35 across the listed registration periods. Participants aged 17 and under register for free. Age related discounts are applied after the event waiver is completed.
All participants receive a finisher medal. 5K entrants also receive a Ghostly Gallop hat. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in seven age categories. There is a costume contest for children with prizes.
Bib pickup is available at Neighbor Running (209 Warren St, Hudson, NY 12534) the day before the event, and there is race day registration and bib pickup at the event location. Teams may include an unlimited number of participants; team scoring uses the top four finishers and teams must have at least four runners to be eligible for team scoring.
The event includes an optional fundraiser to support library programming for children, teens, and adults, with prizes for top fundraisers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
