GFNY Miami 5k - Course and event details
The Michelob ULTRA GFNY Miami 5k is a timed road race that takes place at Miccosukee Casino & Resort in Miami, with the start and finish located at the resort's Raccoon Lot. Packet pickup, start area, and the post-race party and awards are all held on Miccosukee Resort property. Ample parking and pre-race facilities are available on site, and athletes line up in start corrals on the resort grounds.
The course uses fully closed roads on Krome Avenue; all four lanes, both northbound and southbound, are closed to cars for the event. Runners exit the Miccosukee property, turn left to head north on Krome Avenue, run 2.5 km north, complete a U-turn, and return 2.5 km south back to the finish for a flat, out-and-back Everglades route. The description highlights an early morning, cooler race setting and views of the Everglades marshland ecosystem, including sawgrass prairies and cypress trees.
Included race items and services are the official ultralight singlet, chip timing with individual timing chips, and a finisher medal.
