Gezellig Brewing 5K beer run
The Iowa Brewery Running Series presents a 5K fun run at Gezellig Brewing Co in Newton on June 13, 2026. The course is mapped to start and end at the taproom and passes through parts of the city and local parks. The route includes one notable hill.
This is an untimed, open course held on public roads. Participants are responsible for obeying traffic laws and remaining aware of surroundings. The event will take place rain or shine. Registration is limited by taproom capacity.
Registration includes one Hug Deal Lager from Gezellig and either a collector's pint glass or a Brewery Running Series swag item. Attendees also have access to the day’s on site festivities when available, which may include live music, food trucks, and partner games. A valid ID is required to receive alcoholic beverages; underage participants receive a token for a non alcoholic beverage.
The Brewery Running Series states a mission of being active, having fun, and giving back. A portion of event proceeds will support Newton Arboretum.
