Get Your Rear in Gear - Fort Collins is a fundraising run and walk for the Colon Cancer Coalition held on September 26, 2026, at Fossil Creek Park, 5821 S Lemay Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80525. The primary on-site event is a 5K that is offered as a timed run and an untimed walk. The event also includes a kid's fun run for children 10 and under and a virtual participation option.
Registration fees differ by category and by date. Early bird fees through August 26 are: Adult $30, Youth (18 and under) $20, Kid's Fun Run $10, Virtual $25. Regular fees from August 27 through event day are: Adult $35, Youth $25, Kid's Fun Run $10, Virtual $25. Race numbers and timing chips are nontransferable and registration fees are nonrefundable. The organizer may change or cancel the event for safety or other reasons.
The event program lists registration and day of packet pick up, an opening ceremony, the kid's fun run, the 5K timed run and untimed walk, and a closing ceremony with team and individual awards.
