About the race
Get To The 'Point! is the 32nd annual community 5K Run/Walk held on October 18, 2026 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn at St. Stan's Catholic Academy. The event includes a 5K run/walk, children's dashes, awards and a post-race party. Proceeds benefit St. Stan's Catholic Academy.
Event distances and youth dash categories:
- 5K run/walk
- 25 yard dash for ages 2 to 5
- 50 yard dash for ages 6 to 9
- 75 yard dash for ages 10 to 12
Children's dashes are untimed. Awards include top overall male and female, top three male and female in multiple age groups, and medallions for the top three in each dash category. Online and mail-in registrants for the dashes and 5K are eligible to receive a special event T-shirt while supplies last; race day registrants receive admission to the post-race party. The post-race party features a DJ, music, raffles, refreshments, food, dancing and prizes.
All participants must check in at the St. Stan's Catholic Academy parking lot to pick up race numbers and T-shirts. Registering three weeks in advance allows for a personalized bib. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; entrants agree to the event liability release and terms. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
