About the race
Get to the 'Point! is the 32nd annual community 5K run/walk held in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, with additional children's dashes, awards and a post-race party. The event benefits St. Stan's Catholic Academy and takes place at St. Stan's Catholic Academy, 12 Newel Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222.
Race options offered include separate entries for the 5K run/walk, timed 5K with children's dashes, children-only dashes, and post-race party-only or donation-only registrations. Team registration is optional. Registration fees are non-refundable and not transferable. Runners who register at least three weeks in advance may receive a personalized bib. Last-minute registrants within 24 hours can receive a bib number by text.
All online and mail-in registrants for the dashes and 5K receive a special event T-shirt while supplies last and admission to the post-race party. Race day registrants for the dashes and 5K receive admission to the post-race party. The post-race party features a DJ, music, raffles, prizes, refreshments and food.
Awards are given to top overall finishers and to age-group places for a wide range of categories. Special medallions are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 25, 50 and 75 yard dashes.
