Event overview

The Get Shit Done Run 2026 is a road and pathway running event in Calgary at Bottomlands Park (220 Saint Georges Drive NE). Distances offered:

  • Virtual option (complete on your own between April 24 and May 4, 2026)

The event uses chip timing provided by Startline Timing. Official results are available from Startline Timing. Awards will be given to the top three men and top three women in each distance. A podium may be held for non-binary participants if there are enough entrants in that category.

Logistics and policies

The event is a cup-less race; each runner receives a reusable hydra cup for on-course hydration. Aid stations are placed as follows: 21.1 km at 5 km, 10 km and 16 km (with water, electrolytes, gels and coke at some stations); 10 km at 5 km (water, electrolytes); 5 km at 2.5 km (water). Porta potties are available at the start/finish area and at the 5 km turnaround; the 21.1 km course has an additional porta potty near the 10.5 km turnaround.

Package pick up is available April 24 (2:00 pm–6:00 pm) and April 25 (10:00 am–12:00 pm) at Community Natural Foods (1304 10th Ave SW), and there is a race-morning pickup window at the start/finish site; packages are not available outside posted pickup times and late pickup may incur a fee. There are no refunds; rollovers to 2027 are allowed for a fee before April 1, 2026, and transfers to another racer are permitted for a fee (transfer deadlines apply). Dogs are not allowed on course; strollers are allowed. Bibs must be worn on the front and visible on course. An unofficial bag drop will be provided under a tent. Finish-line food includes pretzels (dairy free) and a gluten-free option for those who declared it during registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
