Get Basted Turkey Trot Half Marathon and Multi-Distance Races
The Get Basted Turkey Trot takes place Sunday, November 22, 2026 in Cumming, GA. The event offers multiple distance options both in person and virtually, with electronic timing for the on-site races.

Virtual 5K, 10K, 15K and half marathon entries are available for $22 ($25 on race day). In-person registration follows the same pricing structure. Event apparel and extras are available for purchase online: shirts $22 ($25 on race day), hoodies $27 ($30 on race day), and finisher medals $7.50 ($10 on race day). Volunteers register through the volunteer page and receive five free races as a benefit.
A free 5K race entry is available to participants who crossed the organizer's finish line at any race between December 1, 2025 and November 13, 2026. The course layout includes a 5K loop and is described as fairly flat while acknowledging North Georgia terrain is not completely flat.
Dragon Boat Atlanta is the 2026 charity partner. That group is a breast cancer awareness team of survivors and supporters across a range of ages and genders.
