Georgia Police and Fire Games 5K
The 42nd Annual Georgia Police and Fire Games includes a 5K held on June 13, 2026 at Hobgood Park, 6688 Bells Ferry Rd, Woodstock, GA 30189. The event brings together first responders and civilians from across the United States.
The 5K is open to civilians, active and retired law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, and other public safety professionals. The event is described as family friendly; spectators are welcome. Dogs on a leash and strollers are permitted.
Race day services include bib pick up and in-person registration, and an awards presentation after the race. The course is USATF certified as course number GA18021DJ.
Award categories are divided between Police and Fire Combined and Civilians. Police and Fire Combined awards include Overall Male and Female and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female in the age groups 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 plus. Civilian awards include Overall Male and Female and the top three males and females in these age groups: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, and 71 plus.
Registration fees for both the civilian and police and fire department categories are listed as $35.00 plus a $4.44 processing fee. There are no refunds except for participants enrolled in the Refund Protection Program. Race management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions and registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.
