Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon 2026
The Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon is a point-to-point race held in Colorado. The course follows a scenic mountain route that winds through the Clear Creek Valley. The event begins at an elevation of 8,500 feet near Georgetown Lake and concludes at 7,500 feet in Idaho Springs. The route is described as a gently rolling descent with a finish located on Miner Street and 16th Avenue.
The event features a rolling wave start, with small groups released in intervals to accommodate the path at the beginning of the course. Participants select their arrival window during the registration process. The course remains open until 12:00 PM.

Registered participants receive a custom finisher medal and a race shirt, with shirt sizes guaranteed for those who register by the July deadline. A post-event celebration is held following the race. Packet pickup is available on designated dates at a retail location in Lakewood or at the start line on the morning of the event.
