George Mason 5K and Fun Run - October 17, 2026, Fairfax VA
The event is held on the George Mason University campus at 4373 Mason Pond Dr., Fairfax, VA 22030. Proceeds benefit the George Mason University Disability Services Fund, which supports scholarships, programs, and events that enhance support for students with disabilities. Registration opens August 7 and closes October 17. Registration fees and benefit amounts are: the 5K Run/Walk is $35 with a $20 benefit portion; the Kids' Fun Run is $30 with a $20 benefit portion. Current GMU students may register at a discounted rate of $20 with a valid coupon; student registration closes at midnight on October 17. Day-of registration is available until 7:45 a.m. on race day; cash is not accepted.

- 5K Run/Walk - chip-timed; t-shirt, bib, post-race refreshments; awards for top overall and age groups.
- Kids' Fun Run (1 mile) - ages 7–12; t-shirt; finisher medal; parent may run free.
Gift cards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K. Medals will be awarded to age-group winners. The Kids' Fun Run includes a finisher medal and allows parents or guardians to run alongside a child at no additional charge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
