Gear Grants Pancake Run 2026

This event offers a 5K or a 10-mile running race followed by a pancake breakfast. All proceeds support the Run Hub Gear Grants program, which provides financial assistance for local middle and high school track, field, and cross country athletes to purchase shoes and gear.

The race starts and finishes at the Campbell Community Center at 155 High Street in Eugene, Oregon. The 5K course heads east on the river path and loops through Alton Baker Park. The 10-mile course heads west on the river path to the Owosso Bridge and returns on the north side of the river. Eclectic Edge Racing provides timing.

A pancake breakfast is served inside the community center after the race. The breakfast ticket includes pancakes, sausages (with a vegetarian option), fruit, juice, and coffee. A prize raffle is held with items like shoes and wellness treatments. The top three female, male, and non-binary finishers in each race receive pancake mix.

Participants can register for the race only, the breakfast only, or a combination. Prices are listed as $30 for the 5K, $40 for the 10-mile race, and $20 for the breakfast only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
