Event details
The Bespak GEAR 10K takes place in King’s Lynn, a historic Norfolk market town, on Sunday 03 May 2026. The race distance is 10 km with a separate Mini GEAR event of 1.9 km scheduled on the same day. The start line is at Tuesday Market Place. Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day. The course is described as flat and passes through the town centre, along the River Ouse pathway and The Walks, including landmarks such as the Custom House, Red Mount and Greyfriars Tower. The event uses chip timing and includes a finisher’s goody bag and an exclusive medal; there is an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt.
On the day and logistics
An Event Village will offer food and drink for purchase and host partner charities. Baggage can be left in a designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip from the race number. Water stations will supply 330 ml bottles and recycling bins are provided at each water station. Pacers, sponsored by Arla Protein, will carry flags indicating target finish times. Toilets are located around the stadium and event organisers state a zero-tolerance policy for urination outside provided facilities. Medical personnel and fixed first aid stations will be available near water stations, with a first aid unit and recovery area near the finish and roaming first aiders in the Event Village.
