Bespak GEAR 10 km : King's Lynn
The Bespak GEAR 10 km is a city road race in King's Lynn, a historic Norfolk market town, with a start at Tuesday Market Place. The scenic, largely flat course runs through the town centre, along the River Ouse pathway and The Walks, and passes landmarks including the Custom House, Red Mount and Greyfriars Tower. The event attracts large fields of runners each year and has sold out in recent years. Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day.
Race services include chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal and an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt. Water stations provide 330 ml bottles and recycling bins are located on course near each station. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags with target finish times. Medical cover comprises fixed first aid stations near water stops, a first aid unit and recovery area by the finish, and roaming first aiders. An Event Village offers food and drink for purchase and hosts partner charities. Baggage can be left in a designated store using the tear-off strip from the race number.
