GEAR 10K - King's Lynn
The GEAR 10K is a 10 km road race held in King's Lynn, a historic market town in Norfolk, on Sunday 02 May 2027. The start line is at Tuesday Market Place. The event typically attracts thousands of runners each year and has sold out in recent years.
The course is described as flat and takes a scenic route through the town centre, along the River Ouse pathway and around The Walks. Runners pass local landmarks including the Custom House, Red Mount and Greyfriars Tower. Entrants must be 15 years or over on the day.
Event services include chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal and an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt. Run For All encourages people of different abilities to take part and asks anyone with specific requirements to contact the organisers in advance.
Other activities on the same day include a Mini GEAR event for families and a Bespak corporate challenge for team entries. The event includes sustainability measures such as bins across the site, recycling at water stations and a JogOn trainer drop-off next to the Race Office in the Event Village.
