About the race
Bespak GEAR 10 km takes place on Sunday 02 May 2027 in King's Lynn, a historic Norfolk market town. The start line is at Tuesday Market Place.
The scenic, largely flat course runs through the town centre, along the River Ouse pathway and through The Walks. Runners pass local landmarks including the Custom House, Red Mount and Greyfriars Tower. The organiser notes that the event attracts thousands of participants each year and that the route is popular.
Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day. The organiser states that people with differing needs can arrange support in advance.
Entry includes chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal and the option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt. Medal engraving is available as a separate service. On event day there will be bins across the site, recycling at water stations and a trainer drop-off point for reuse through the JogOn scheme.
Other activities on the same day include the Mini GEAR run for families and a Bespak corporate challenge for team entries. The event has a training partnership with Coopah and allows the use of bone conducting headphones when volume is kept low so marshals and emergency messages remain audible.
