GCTC Rocket Man Run 5K & Fun Walk
The Gordon Cooper Technology Center Foundation presents the Rocket Man Run 5K and Fun Walk at the GCTC Main Campus in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The event includes a chip timed 5K and a separate fun walk on an out-and-back course that features inclines and hills. The 5K is professionally chip timed and individual elapsed times will be posted on the race web page within 24 hours.

- Fun Walk 1 mile
Registration is listed with a flat fee of $30 for the 5K and the fun walk. Participants who register by August 1 are guaranteed a short-sleeved cotton t shirt; t shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after that date. Top 25 overall finishers in the 5K will receive a commemorative medal at the finish. Refreshments will be available for participants as they depart the race area. Packet pickup is available the day before the event at the Marty Lewis Public Safety Center on the GCTC Main Campus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
