Event Overview
The GCR Firecracker 5K is a running event held on July 4th. The main event is a 5K run, with options to run, walk, or run/walk. A separate kids race over a half-mile distance is also offered.
Course Details
The 5K course is a double loop through Lake Park in Naples, Florida. The race start is located by the water treatment plant on 10th Street North.
Event Logistics
The address for the event is 1600 Fleischmann Blvd, Naples, FL 34102. Packet pick-up is available the day before the race at a location called Naples on the Run. There is also a day-of packet pick-up at Fleischmann Park.
Participant Perks
Included with registration are a T-shirt, available at packet pick-up, and a finisher medal awarded after the race. Age group awards are given.
Additional Activities
Following the 5K, a GCR Freedom Swim is scheduled to take place at Lowdermilk Park.
