Event

The 2026 GCR Firecracker 5K takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in Naples, FL 34102. The race is organized by Gulf Coast Runners and is held in the Lake Park / Fleischmann Park area.

Race details

The main event is a 5K held on a double loop course through Lake Park. The course start is by the water treatment plant on 10th St. N. The event includes a finisher medal and a T-shirt available at packet pick-up. Age group awards are given five deep.

1/2 mile kids race that starts and ends at the 5K finish line balloon; no sign up is necessary for the kids race.

Registration and packet pick-up

General entry is listed at $30, with the price increasing after February 28, 2026. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race at Naples on the Run, and there is day-of packet pick-up in Fleischmann Park.

Additional activities and beneficiary
