Event

The 2026 GCR Firecracker 5K takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in Naples, FL 34102. The main event is a 5K held on a double-loop course through Lake Park. The race start area is located by the water treatment plant on 10th St. N. A kids race is held on a 1/2 mile loop that starts and ends at the 5K finish line balloon.

Logistics

Registration lists a base price of $30, with the price scheduled to increase after February 28, 2026. Packet pick up is available on July 3 at Naples on the Run, and there is day-of packet pick up in Fleischmann Park on July 4. The event includes a T-shirt at packet pick up and a finisher medal. Age group awards are given five deep. The schedule also includes a separate GCR Freedom Swim at Lowdermilk Park. Proceeds from the event go to the Gulf Coast Runners Youth Development Fund.
