Gavin's Gallop 5K
Gavin's Gallop 5K is a running event taking place at Freeman Lake Park in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The race is held at the Lions Club Pavilion and utilizes the park's scenic lakeside trail system.
The course is designed as an out-and-back route along the water. Participants can expect a water station positioned at the turnaround point of the 3.1 miles course. The event proceeds support Gavin's Gifts, a nonprofit organization that assists families affected by Batten Disease, a rare childhood condition. Funds raised contribute to home modifications, financial assistance, and care-related support for these families.
