Gator Grinder Triathlon : Canby, OR
The Gator Grinder Triathlon is a multi-discipline event held in Canby, Oregon. The event uses a 6-lane, 25-yard pool for the swim, a one-loop 12-mile bike course on county roads around Canby, and a 3.1-mile run that uses roadways and a paved walking trail for about one third of the distance. Relay teams may consist of two or three participants. Aquabike and duathlon variations follow the same course segments as the triathlon.

Swim heats are seeded by submitted 500-yard swim times and assignments are sent by email before the race. Swim lanes may include up to four swimmers and drafting in the swim is permitted. A bike helmet is mandatory and drafting on the bike is not allowed. Roads remain open to traffic; volunteers will manage intersections but cyclists are responsible for their own safety. Water will be available on the run course.
Registration is online only. Cancellations by March 31, 2027 receive a full refund less $10; no refunds after that date and entries are non-transferable. T shirts are guaranteed for entries received before March 31. Awards include ribbons for the top three male and female finishers in each age group and additional awards for top overall finishers and top finishers from Canby.
