Race format and registration
The 15K uses a four-wave start system. Wave 1 requires a submitted qualifying time and places runners into colored zones based on that time; proof of qualifying is required for Wave 1 only. Wave 1 is for runners with expected finish times under 1 hour 30 minutes and paces faster than 10 minutes per mile; walkers are not allowed in Waves 1-3. Wave 2 is for expected finishes between 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours (approximately 10-11 minute miles). Wave 3 is for expected finishes between 2 hours and 2 hours 40 minutes (approximately 11-16 minute miles). Wave 4 is for expected finishes over 2 hours 40 minutes and is where 15K walkers should be placed. Qualifying times must be run between June 1, 2024 and the date of registration.
Registration fees are listed starting at $55 for the 15K and $40 for the 5K, plus processing fees. An age discount of $5 applies automatically for ages 19 and under and for ages 65 and older.
