Garryduff Woods, Rochestown
Garryduff Woods in Rochestown, County Cork holds a trail race on Sunday 11th October 2026. The long course covers 6.50 km with approximately 200 m of climb. The route is fully marked and GPS devices are allowed. The course is described as a mix of technical sections, climbing and single track. The event carries a difficulty rating of 3 and is listed with the Coillte Summer/Autumn Trail League, Munster.
Mandatory Level B kit is required and must be brought to the race: waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent. The final requirement for what must be carried on the day will be confirmed at Registration. Failure to have the required items may result in being denied entry or disqualification; random kit checks may be carried out.
Entry fees are €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. Entries open on 4 October 2026 and close on 10 October 2026; the entry limit is 250 places. Parking is limited and there are no parking facilities at Garryduff Sports Centre. Suggested parking locations include the Rochestown Inn car park, Upper Belmont Avenue and Upper Kensington.
