Garmin Olathe Marathon in the Land of Oz
The Garmin Olathe Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and Munchkin Run take place on April 25, 2026, in Olathe, Kansas. The race is hosted at Garmin World Headquarters, 1200 E 151st Street, Olathe, KS. Logistics, services and rules
An Expo and packet pickup is held at the Ball Event Center, 21350 W. 153rd St., Olathe, KS. The expo schedule is Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24; race day packet pickup is available at Garmin World Headquarters. There is no race day registration.
Aid stations are placed along the course about every 1.5 to 2.5 miles. Water and Gatorade are provided at each aid station and GU is available at three to six aid stations. Port-a-potties are located at or near each aid station. Gear check is located near the starting line; bags are secured in plastic sacks and labeled with bib numbers. Unclaimed items after the race are donated to charity.
Races are limited to registered participants. Baby strollers/joggers, rollerblades, bicycles, wheelchairs, skateboards and dogs are not allowed on the course and non-compliance may result in disqualification. Law enforcement, course monitors and volunteers will control traffic.
Awards
Trophies are presented for Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K overall (male and female, 1st–3rd) and Masters (40+) 1st place. Age-group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in standard age brackets. Age-group awards are available on race day before 2pm or can be picked up at the Olathe Chamber office within two weeks; mailing is available. Pace team members will be listed on results but do not count toward awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
