Garmin Olathe Marathon
The Garmin Olathe Marathon takes place in Olathe, Kansas, located approximately 20 minutes southwest of downtown Kansas City. Established in 2003, this event celebrates its 23rd anniversary in 2026. The race is hosted at the Garmin International world headquarters and follows a course through the streets and trails of the city.
Participants can choose from several distance options:
- Marathon: 26.2 miles
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles
- 10K: 6.2 miles
- Munchkin Run: 1.2 miles
The Munchkin Run is designed for participants from kindergarten through eighth grade. These younger runners can track 25 miles on a personal tracking sheet leading up to the event. On the day of the race, they complete the final 1.2 miles on the same official course used by the adult categories. Parents and guardians also have the option to register and run alongside their children during this segment.
