Garmin Olathe Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K
The event takes place on April 24, 2027 at Garmin International headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. It is the 24th anniversary of an event that began in 2003 and is hosted at Garmin's world headquarters in Johnson County, Kansas. Olathe lies about 20 minutes southwest of downtown Kansas City.
Races offered include:
- Marathon - 26.2 Miles
- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- 10K - 6.2 Miles
- Munchkin Run - 1.2 Miles
Registration details for the marathon, half marathon and 10K show an opening date of August 31, 2026 and a closing date of November 26, 2026, with listed fees of $95, $80 and $60 respectively. The Munchkin Run has its own registration window that closes April 23, 2027 and a listed fee of $25. Families can register for the Munchkin Run; guardians may register and run with a registered child for the same fee.
The Munchkin Marathon program tracks 25 miles for Kindergarten through 8th grade participants before race day. On event day, Munchkin Run participants run the final 1.2 mile on the same course used by the adult races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
