Game On! Key Largo Triathlon Summer
The event takes place on August 16, 2026 at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park in Key Largo, Florida, near MM 102.5 on Overseas Highway. It includes Olympic and Sprint distance triathlon and duathlon races, an Olympic distance aquabike, relay options, and special companion sprint categories.
The swim course is at the park's main beach in clear salt water that the organizer describes as warm, relatively shallow, and with no current. The bike course is an out and back on Overseas Highway and Card Sound Road. The run routes of either 3.5 miles or 6.2 miles pass through a Florida Keys neighborhood with conch houses and a relaxed atmosphere. Races finish back at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park.

The park is the first undersea park in the U.S. and covers roughly 70 nautical square miles. Upland features include mangrove areas, short trails, a visitor center with a 30,000 gallon saltwater aquarium, and opportunities for snorkeling, scuba diving, glass bottom boat viewing, kayaking, and fishing in designated areas.
