Galva Freedom Fest 5k

Galva Freedom Fest 5k takes place on July 4, 2026 at Wiley Park, 301 NW 4th Avenue, Galva, Illinois. The event is a 5k run covering 3.1 Miles on a flat, in-town course.

Registration fees are structured by date: $25 on or before July 1, 2026 at midnight, which includes a t-shirt; $30 after July 1, 2026 with t-shirt availability subject to remaining supply.

Prizes and trophies are awarded with equal recognition for men and women. Trophies are given in each age division: 9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; and 70 and over. Additional awards include trophies to the first, second, and third men and women finishers from Galva School District 224, a new trophy for the first active military or veteran finisher, and a Best Patriotic costume award.
