HogDay Stampede - 50th Annual
HogDay Stampede will be held on September 5, 2026 at the Kewanee YMCA, 315 West First Street, Kewanee, IL. The event includes multiple running and walking distances and a kids fun run for ages 7 and under.

- 4 Mile Run / Fitness Walk
- 1 Mile Run / Fitness Walk
- 1/4 Mile Kids Fun Run (ages 7 and under)
Pre-registration pricing includes a Russell T-shirt while supplies and correct sizes last. Typical fees listed are $30 for the 4 mile pre-registration and $35 after August 15, and $20 for the 1 mile pre-registration and $25 after August 15; the kids fun run has no entry fee. T-shirt or size guarantees end in late August for adult and youth entries; free kids shirts are provided to the first 300 entries with no guarantee of correct size after August 18.
Packet pick up is available at Breedlove's Printing Store, 105 N. Tremont, Kewanee, on the Friday before the event from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM, and race day packet pick up will be available at the Kewanee YMCA.
The 4 mile course is described as a primarily flat figure 8 with two small hills, starting and finishing by the Kewanee YMCA. Water and split times will be provided, and the finish uses chip timing and a digital clock. Post-race refreshments include fruit, cookies, All Sport, and Pepsi. Awards and gift certificates are offered for overall and age group finishers, with additional awards for local finishers and course record bonuses.
