HogDay Stampede - 50th Annual
The HogDay Stampede takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at the Kewanee YMCA, 315 West First Street, Kewanee, Illinois. The event features multiple age-group races and a separate kids fun run.

- 1/4 Mile Kids Fun Run (ages 7 and under)
Pre-registration for the longer races includes a new-design Russell T-shirt while entries received after specified deadlines may not receive the correct size or any shirt. The kids fun run has no entry fee; a guardian must sign the entry form. Free T-shirts for the kids race are provided to the first 300 entries, with no guarantee of correct size for entries received after August 18.
Awards and age groups are specified for both the four mile and one mile events. Breedlove gift certificates and plaques are awarded to the first through third overall in the four mile race with stated cash amounts and a course record bonus. Age group awards are given to top finishers in each listed age category. Pizza Hut provides some awards.
Course and services: the four mile course is described as a primarily flat figure eight with two small hills and starts and finishes by the Kewanee YMCA. Water and split times are provided along the route. Finish amenities include a digital clock, chip timing, and refreshments such as fruit, cookies, All Sport, and Pepsi. Packet pick up is available at Breedlove's Printing Store on Friday, September 4 and on race day at the Kewanee YMCA. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
