Braveheart CAC 4th Annual Superhero 5K Run/Walk
The Braveheart CAC 4th Annual Superhero 5K Run/Walk takes place on April 18, 2026 at Baker Park in Kewanee, Illinois. The event includes on-site and virtual participation options and a separate kids fun run. The Baker Park entrance is at the intersection of IL 81 and Lexington Avenue in Kewanee.

Registration includes a t-shirt for entries completed by March 21, 2026. A community resource fair will feature local partners sharing services and information. All 5K participants will receive awards and the overall top three finishers will receive special recognition. The kids fun run will include goodie bags for participating children. Family activities and booths will offer games described as Minute to Win It style. Participants are invited to wear superhero costumes. The 5K run and walk proceeds benefit Braveheart Children's Advocacy Center. The 5K run and walk is held rain or shine, and the community resource fair is subject to the participation of community partners.
Braveheart CAC is a nonprofit organization that provides free services to child abuse victims, connects families to resources, funds specialized therapy and medical services for children, and offers community education.
