Event Overview
The Braveheart CAC 4th Annual Superhero 5k Run/Walk is held on Saturday, April 18, 2026. It takes place at Baker Park in Kewanee, Illinois. The event raises awareness for child abuse, sexual assault, and mental health in the community. All proceeds benefit Braveheart CAC.

Event Details
Registration for the 5k includes a t-shirt for those registered by March 18, 2026. There is a separate, free Kids Fun Run scheduled. Awards are given to all 5k participants, with special recognition for the top three overall finishers.
A Community Resource Fair with partners begins before the run. Family activities and booths with "Minute to Win It" games are available. Kids in the fun run receive goodie bags. Participants are encouraged to wear superhero costumes. The event is described as rain or shine for the 5k run/walk.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is scheduled for April 17, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Kewanee Public Library. For those unable to attend then, pickup is also available at the event site on race morning after 9:00 AM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
