Gallop for Hope
Gallop for Hope is a fundraising color run hosted by Bridle Up Hope - Las Cruces. The event takes place at La Llorona Multi-Use Path Trailhead in Las Cruces, New Mexico on September 5, 2026. It is organized to raise funds for program operations and scholarships that support girls and women through an Equine Assisted Learning program.

The organizer is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that combines equine activities with The 7 Habits program to promote hope, confidence, and resilience. The event page lists $841.13 raised toward a $15,000 goal and 56 participants registered at the time shown.
Timing will use an RFID chip system with camera backup. Bibs include a chip attached and must be worn on the outside of clothing on the front of the shirt; pins should use the top two holes and the bib should not be folded or crumpled. Participants may keep their bib and chip after the event. Awards are planned for the 5K top three male and top three female, and for the 1 Mile top three boy and top three girl age 12 and under.
Additional event elements include team entries called HERDS, competitions for largest herd, best dressed herd, and fastest herd with a minimum of five members, sponsor recognition, and participant giveaways while supplies last. Race insurance is available for purchase during registration. No refunds on entry fees, though fee transfers to other events may be allowed with a transfer fee.
