Gadsden 5K Run
The Gadsden 5K Run is a community-focused running event in Quincy, Florida, hosted in partnership with the City of Quincy and The Sow-A-Seed Foundation. It takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The event is held at 1400 W King Street, Quincy, FL.
Two races are offered:
- 1 Mile Run/Walk: Starts at 7:30 AM.
- 5k Run/Walk: Starts at 8:00 AM.
Both races start and finish near Corey Field. The route will have designated water stations and local business-sponsored mile markers providing refreshments.
Registration fees vary:
- Early Registration (January 5 - February 2, 2026): 1 Mile - $15.00, 5K Race - $15.00.
- Normal Registration (February 3 - March 22, 2026): 1 Mile - $15.00, 5K Race - $20.00.
- Late Registration (March 23 - April 17, 2026): 1 Mile - $20.00, 5K Race - $25.00.
- Race Day Registration (April 18, 2026): 1 Mile - $25.00, 5K Race - $30.00.
A group registration for five or more people is available for $75.00. Payment can be made by check payable to The Sow A Seed Foundation or via Zelle.
The registration package includes race timing, a medal for completion, an event T-shirt, and food and refreshments. Packet pickup is scheduled at Gee & Lee Attorneys At Law in Tallahassee on April 16 and 17 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Awards will be given to some of the top overall male and female finishers.
