FWD FIT Katonah Family Fun Day 5K & Kids Mile
The event is the first annual community running day held at the Pepsi Campus in Katonah, New York. It includes a main 5K and a Kids Mile, followed by a Family Fun Day with fitness activities, local vendors, games, music, and refreshments.
The 5K course runs through the Pepsi Campus area and uses quiet morning streets, rolling hills, and residential neighborhoods. The route passes through scenic sections of the community and is described as taking advantage of the local streets and neighborhoods.
The event is open to runners, joggers, walkers, and families. Registration fees are listed as $30.00 for the 5K and $20.00 for the Kids Mile.
Awards will be presented to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female finishers. Additional awards will be given to top male and female finishers in age groups. Age groups include the following, with the youngest groups applying to the Kids Mile only: 6 & under, 7–10, 11–13, 13 & under, 14–17, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60+.
