The Garavel SoNo Half Marathon | 5K is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026. This is the 12th annual running of the event. Race categories listed include:

Registration opens December 22, 2025. Published entry prices (including fees) are $54 for the Half Marathon, $48.70 for Half Marathon Student, $32.80 for the 5K, $27.50 for 5K Student, and $0 for the Kids Fun Run. Age limits are noted for each category; student entries are open to ages 18 and under, the Kids Fun Run is open to ages 12 and under, and most other events list an upper age limit of 100. Some student and kids categories show limited remaining spots.
Course, amenities and logistics
The course runs through historic South Norwalk, along coastline sections, tree-lined streets, and past local landmarks. The event takes place at Veteran's Memorial Park and Marina, 42 Seaview Ave, Norwalk, CT 06855. All participants receive a performance shirt, multifunctional headwear, free race photos, and a finisher's medal. A post-race party offers food and beverages including pizza, ice cream, and free beer for those 21 and over; Stew Leonard's is listed as a provider of additional goodies.
