1st Annual Fuzzy's Taco Dash - Kingwood
The 1st Annual Fuzzy's Taco Dash takes place in Kingwood, Texas. This Cinco de Mayo themed event is held in partnership with Fuzzy's Tacos & Margs. The race routes utilize the Kingwood Greenbelt Trails. Participants are encouraged to wear themed attire for the event.
Available race categories include:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 10 km Relay (2 to 4 person teams, 1.5 mile legs)
- Kids Dash (ages 10 and under, approx. 100-200 meters)
- Virtual 5 km or 10 km options
The relay event features a specific requirement where each team member must make a taco before tagging their partner. Pre-race activities include a Pure Barre warm-up, music, and an attire contest. Post-race activities feature a finishers tent with refreshments and results. All participants receive a custom race shirt, finisher medal, and race bib.
The event supports charitable organizations, including Addie's Faith Foundation. Awards are presented to top finishers in various age categories, ranging from 10 and under to 70 and older, as well as overall, masters, and grand masters divisions for the 5 km and 10 km distances.
