The event is organized to support the North Port Youth Soccer Club and is followed by an on-site festival at North Port City Green. Water will be available during the course and after the race. In-person awards for the 5K are planned by age group in 10-year brackets (<19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). Soccer-themed awards are planned for top youth male and female finishers in youth divisions (>9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-16). A race shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed before November 1. All registration is online and no cash will be accepted on the day of the event. Organizers are seeking volunteers, sponsors, and vendors to support the event.
