Fusion Fest 5k : Event overview
The Fusion Fest 5k takes place on May 9, 2026 in North Port, Florida at 4970 City Hall Blvd. The event benefits the North Port Youth Soccer Club and is followed by a community festival at the North Port City Green. The race uses chip timing and includes the following distances:
- 5 km - Fusion 5k
- 1 mile - Fusion 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Race details and logistics
Entry prices listed are $25 for the 5k and $20 for the 1 mile. Registration is online only; no cash day-of. Packet pickup is scheduled at Narramore Sports Complex, 7508 Glenallen Blvd, North Port, on May 8 (evening). A race shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed before November 1. Water will be available mid-course and after the race; snacks are to be determined.
In-person awards for 5k runners are presented after the race in age brackets: under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Soccer-themed awards are given to top youth male and female finishers in youth divisions including 10-12, 13-14, and 15-16. Participants receive entry to Fusion Fest activities, which include games, music, vendors and food. Organizers are seeking volunteers, sponsors and vendors; donations are welcome.
