Furzton Relay
The Furzton Relay is a four person team relay held around Furzton Lake in Milton Keynes. The course consists of four laps of the lake with each lap about 2.5 miles, and teams complete the relay by rotating one runner per lap. The event is open to teams of four and juniors aged 12 to 18 may compete under UKA rules. Any team with one or more members aged 18 or over is classified as an adult team and cannot be entered in the fastest junior team category.
Entry fees are stated as £50.00 per team for mixed junior and senior teams, or £24.00 per junior team when all four members are under 18. The 2026 event is sold out.
Trophies are awarded to the fastest teams in the junior, male, female and mixed categories. All participants receive a medal. The event is licensed by England Athletics.
The event village and race start and finish are located near The Italian Sul Lago, off Watling Street, Furzton, Milton Keynes MK4 1GA. Limited parking is available in an overflow car park off Watling Street and additional parking near the Hungry Horse pub in Shirwell Crescent. Toilets are available at the nearby Sul Lago café and restaurant.
