Furzton Relay
The Furzton Relay is a four person team relay held on Saturday 11 July 2026 around Furzton Lake in Milton Keynes. The course starts and finishes near The Italian Sul Lago, off Watling Street, and uses a lap around the lake that is about 2.5 miles. The race comprises four laps of the lake so that each team completes four laps in total.
Teams must consist of four runners. Juniors aged 12 to 18 may compete under UK Athletics rules. Any team with even one member over 17 is classified as an adult team and is therefore ineligible for the fastest juniors team category; adult team categories may include up to three juniors.
Entries open on 1 April 2026 and close on 30 June 2026. Entry fees are £50.00 per team, including mixed junior and senior runners, or £24.00 per junior team when all four members are under 18. One team member submits the booking and payment for the full team.
Trophies are awarded to the fastest junior, male, female and mixed teams. All participants receive a medal. Course records are listed for male and female categories with recorded times of 00:12:35 (male, 2015) and 00:14:55 (female, 2013). Parking is limited and available in an overflow car park off Watling Street or nearer the Hungry Horse pub in Shirwell Crescent. Toilets are available at the Sul Lago Italian café/restaurant.
