Furry Friends 5k
The Furry Friends 5K is a fundraising run and walk organized by the Humane Society of Jefferson County to benefit pets in need. The event is family and dog friendly and is held at Jefferson County Fair Park, 503 N Jackson Ave, Jefferson, WI 53549. The course is described as a flat scenic route intended to accommodate first time walkers and runners alongside more experienced participants.
A KidK obstacle run and walk is offered alongside the 5k. The KidK course is geared for ages 1 to 6 but allows broader registration. All KidK participants receive a medal; there is not an award ceremony for the KidK category. The obstacle course includes activities such as color powder, hopscotch style obstacles, and a rail yard.

- 5k timed run or untimed walk - $35
- KidK obstacle run/walk geared for ages 1 to 6 - from $15
