Funky Bunch 3 Mile Invite

The Funky Bunch Invite is a 3-mile road race held on June 27, 2026, at Schon Park in Glen Carbon, Illinois. The course combines paved road and grass sections within the park, offering varied footing throughout the route. The event accepts individual entrants and team entries; team themes and costumes are encouraged and a best team costume award will be presented.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to displaced military heroes through the Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Campaign. Awards include plaques for top finishers by gender and age group: Top 3 Boys and Top 3 Girls (0-14 years), Top 3 Boys and Top 3 Girls (15-39 years), Top 3 Boys and Top 3 Girls Masters (40+ years), and Top 3 Teams.

Packet pickup is scheduled for June 26 at a retail location on Shoger Drive in Edwardsville, Illinois. Event photos, including drone images, will be provided free after the event. A full day of postrace activities will follow the race with local vendors and lawn games such as cornhole, spikeball, and volleyball.
