Full Moon 5K Run/Walk
The Full Moon 5K takes place in Charles City, Iowa, organized by the Charles City Community Fund. The race starts and finishes at Tellurian Brewing, situated at 100 South Main Street. Participants can expect a night event with a transition from sunset to moonlight during the course of the race.
Participants may register for the following events:
- 5K run or walk for individuals and teams of four or more.
- Kids Fun Dash for children ages eight and younger.
- 5K Virtual Run for those completing the distance remotely.
The 5K course features chip-timing for all runners. Registrants receive a t-shirt, provided they sign up by April 12, 2026. Refreshments and snacks are provided at the finish line area. Trophies are awarded to the top overall male and female competitors and the top three teams. Medals are also presented to the top three finishers in each age category. Participants in the Kids Fun Dash receive a fun item and refreshments.
Packet pickup is available the evening before the event at Tellurian Brewing or on the evening of the race. For virtual participants, race packets are delivered via mail. On-site registration is available on the day of the event prior to the start of the organized runs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
