Frye Island Road Race

The Frye Island Road Race takes place on July 5, 2026 at the Frye Island Community Center on High Point Drive in Frye Island, Maine. The event includes both running and walking options in two distances. Race timing will be done manually by volunteers at the finish line.

Registration opens May 13, 2026 and closes July 4, 2026. The pre-registration fee and the fee at packet pickup are $10 per person. Limited race day registration is available for $20. Packet pickup and late registration occur on July 4, 2026 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the Community Center. Organizers use Runsignup for online registration; a small service charge is added to orders.

Shirt ordering has a deadline of June 14, 2026 and the 2026 design commemorates the 250th anniversary of the USA with a patriotic island theme. Racers aged 12 and under receive a free ice cream at the Store/Cafe on race day when they show their race bibs.
