About the race
On December 5, 2026, Mitchell's Mountain hosts a trail race at its home office property near Fayetteville, AR, located about 20 minutes west of Fayetteville and north of Lincoln Lake.
Race offerings include:
- 3.14 mile Infinity Loop Last Man Standing
- 5k race
- 1k family out and back run
The Last Man Standing Infinity Loop uses repeated 3.14 mile loops with changing time limits per lap: loops 1 to 8 require 60 minutes each; loops 9 to 16 require 50 minutes each; loops 17 to 24 require 40 minutes each; loops 25 to 31 require 35 minutes each; and loops 32 and above require 31 minutes 40 seconds per loop. The 1k run starts first and the 5k follows along the same course used by the Infinity trail.
The course is entirely on trail, mostly single track with dirt or rock surfaces, and it winds through oak forest. Elevation gain and the exact trail map will be announced later.
A limited number of camping spots will be available for Last Man Standing participants. Portable toilets will be located near the starting line for participants' convenience.
Mitchell's Mountain is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on lifelong care for people with complex sensory and behavioral needs and on hosting disability inclusive outdoor events.
