The Frosty Cox 6 Hour Trail Race takes place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in Concord, North Carolina at 3702 Sapp Road. The event is a timed six-hour trail race held on a private network of trails. Entries are limited and registration closes on Wednesday, January 7 at 11:59 PM ET.
Course and format
The course is a 6.2-mile loop (10K) composed of about 95% singletrack, 5% jeep road, and entirely on dirt. Each full loop includes approximately 1,350 feet of elevation gain. Only complete laps count toward a participant’s distance total.

Course features include a creek crossing, hardwood forests, mature pine groves, and a mix of climbs and descents.
Support and awards
A fully stocked aid station is located at the loop return and is resupplied each lap. Aid offerings include standard aid station snacks, Tailwind, and home-baked goods; hot cocoa may be available if conditions are cold. Participants who complete at least one full lap receive a finisher award. Runners who complete five laps within the six-hour limit receive a 50K award. Awards are also given to the top overall male and female finishers.
