Participants complete as many full loops as they wish within the six-hour time limit. The event is organized locally and entries are limited. The course base is listed at 3702 Sapp Road, Concord.

Course and logistics

The course is a single loop of 6.2 miles. Surface composition is reported as 95% singletrack, 5% jeep road, and 100% dirt. Each loop includes about 1,350 feet of elevation gain. Course features include a creek crossing, hardwood forest sections, and mature pine groves. Only full laps count toward a participant’s distance total.

There is a staffed aid station on the loop offering standard aid station snacks, Tailwind, and home-baked goods; hot cocoa may be available in cold conditions. Finisher recognition is given to anyone who completes at least one full lap; a special 50K award is given to participants who complete five laps (about 31 miles) within the six-hour limit. Awards are also planned for top overall male and female finishers. Parking is available on site and across the street. Packet pickup is provided on site. Race shirts can be ordered through the event store with a December 12 deadline for delivery by race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
